Welcome to the new Construct Ireland website
Welcome to the new and improved Construct Ireland website. The new site includes some substantial progress, ranging from an archive of past articles, to a detailed calendar of events, an updated version of our sustainable building jobs section, to this blogs feature. It's our intention to use the blog and news section to keep you up to date with breaking stories related to sustainable
building, and there should be no shortage of news in the coming months given the imminent deadlines for implementation of energy ratings for new non-domestic buildings, followed swiftly by all existing buildings at point of sale or rental. The industry is also bracing itself for news on the status of the Greener Homes and House of Tomorrow grant schemes, whilst looking forward to what progress Minister Ryan makes in terms of a new regime of funding targeted at reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions from the existing housing stock.
We hope to prove to you over the coming months that www.constructireland.ie is the place to come to for breaking news on these and other issues related to sustainable building, as an invaluable support to Construct Ireland magazine. As ever, we'll endeavour not just to print the facts of the changes but to back this up with comment from leading industry figures to add insight.
We look forward to your continued use of the new and improved site, and encourage you to post on our forum and get involved in the discussion directly.
Regards,
The editor
