The Irish Green Building Council – IGBC, a non-profit organisation was launched in 2011 with organisations and businesses from the entire value chain of the built environment.

 

These include universities, professional institutes, NGOs local authorities, contractors, architects, engineers, energy companies, leading national and transnational companies.

 

All are united in one common goal to accelerate the transformation of the built environment, related industry and supply chain to one that is sustainable through leadership, research, education, and providing policy input to national and local government.

 

Through its drive and commitment, the IGBC successfully brought together a wide range of diverse stakeholders to identify and propose solutions to the challenges and opportunities we face in upgrading our homes and businesses.

The IGBC is a registered charity approved by the Charities Regulator.  Registered Charity Number (RCN): 20155568

Pat Barry

CEO

Pat co-founded the IGBC in 2010. He is an architect with over 20 years of experience in Ireland, Europe and South America, a Masters in Environmental design of buildings from University of Cardiff and is a qualified Passive House and DGNB consultant.

Marion Jammet

Business Development Manager

Marion's working background is in project management, membership organisations and policy development, with previous roles in Dublin Chamber, Eurochambres and the French Embassy in Serbia. Marion holds a MA in European Affairs from Sciences-Po Strasbourg and a MSc in environmental sustainability.
