The new monobloc range will come in outputs ranging from to 2 kW to 6 kW, complementing the company’s range of split heat pumps, which offer outputs from 4 kW to 12 kW. While both split and monobloc heat pumps have an indoor and outdoor unit, the monobloc is a plug-and-play type system that results in a quicker installation time with no requirement for a refrigeration engineer to be present on site.
“All of our heat pumps are certified to the EN standards EN 14825 and EN 16147 and offer a co-efficient of performance [COP] of up to 5.0,” Donal Reilly, business development manager for renewables at Waterford Stanley, told Passive House Plus. “They are ideal for retrofitted homes or new homes and can provide 100 per cent of domestic hot water and 100 per cent of space heating.”
Reilly explained that Waterford Stanley offers an extensive design and support service including heat pump and underfloor heating design, as well as heat loss calculations and support for SEAI heat pump grants. The company supplies underfloor heating systems including Danfoss manifolds and Heatmiser thermostats.
“We also give on-site support to our installers as well as commissioning our systems, and we work closely with engineers, architects, builders, and homeowners. All of our heat pumps also come with a seven-year warranty, plus remote diagnostic support.”
