Award-winning solar PV brand Autarco enters Irish market
Leading solar PV brand Autarco has announced its entry to the Irish market. Autarco told Passive House Plus that it is the world’s first company to provide complete single brand solar PV systems with an industry unique energy generation guarantee, expressed in kWh.
With their single brand proposition, Autarco says it has resolved the need for end-users to make significant investments in three or four component brands. Autarco’s systems also come with a 10-year warranty across the complete system, including the inverter.
As each system is integrally designed and registered after installation, Autarco said it is, in “the unique position to offer an industry-first kWh guarantee in the form of a certificate”. If a system performs less than the stated amount on the certificate, the end-user will be paid out the difference per kWh.
Lloyd Lawson, UK sales director, told Passive House Plus: “We looked at every stage of the process and set out to make it simpler and more efficient, from the decision making process by the end-user, the actual design efforts by installers, to the ordering process undertaken by our own B2B customers. Our UK sales team offers an on-the-ground service that is unrivaled within the industry. Our soon to be launched on-line quotation and ordering system not only allows retailers to generate quotations and place orders in real time, but also ensures their loyalty is rewarded by increasing discounts based on volume.”
The company, which won the Solar UK innovation award in 2015, is currently looking for retail partners in the UK and Ireland. “We want to work with like-minded high quality retailers and distributors who share our vision for the future. Once the benefits of Autarco are enjoyed, we find very few companies go back to the multi-brand offering. From the very first meeting, we look at each of our customers individually and design a supply chain and support network which suits them, whether it be on a single system basis from our UK stock operation or a direct supply chain based on larger volumes,” said Lawson.
Likewise, Autarco said its global presence and complete system approach allows it to effectively develop more complex energy solutions such as grid-tied PV systems with battery backup.
